Dr. Dervan attends in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Her clinical research focuses on neurologic illness and injury during critical illness.  Her research interests include the effects of sleep deprivation, sedation and ICU delirium, and the long-term outcomes associated with these features of critical illness. Additional areas of clinical interest include neurocritical care, especially for children experiencing status epilepticus and children experiencing neurologic sequelae of other medical conditions.
