Dr. Tjoeng, is an Assistant Professor and attending physician in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Single Ventricle Program at Seattle Children’s Hospital. She completed residency at the Boston Combined Residency Program where she served as Chief Resident of the Urban Health and Advocacy Track. She then completed critical care fellowship and cardiology fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital. During this time, she completed a Masters in Health Services at the University of Washington. Her primary academic interests are in studying etiologies of health disparities in the congenital heart disease population and identifying areas for intervention to improve health outcomes for minority populations.
