Professional Bio

Dr. Rosenfeld’s clinical interests focus on the diagnosis and management of respiratory illnesses in children of all ages, working closely with families. Her research program focuses on NIH and foundation-sponsored multicenter observational and interventional studies in pediatric chronic lung diseases, including cystic fibrosis and primary ciliary dyskinesia. She also conducts research on how to conduct decentralized clinical trials and on remote technologies in clinical trials. She currently is interim co-Director of the Center for Clinical and Translational Research at the Seattle Children’s Research Institute, serves as Associate Vice Chair for Clinical Research in the Department of Pediatrics, and co-leads the Hub Liaison Team at the Institute for Translational Health Sciences (ITHS). She also serves as the CF consultant to the Washington State Newborn Screening Program.

 

Dr. Rosenfeld earned her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her MD from Harvard Medical School. She completed her residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital. During her fellowship she obtained a Masters in Public Health in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Washington School of Public Health.
