David Hill, MD

Dr. David L Hill is a board certified pediatric hospitalist working as Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Seattle Children’s Hospital, EvergreenHealth Medical Center Kirkland, and the University of Washington Hospital Newborn Nursery. Dr. Hill also serves as Editor in Chief of the AAP’s bestselling Caring for Your Baby and Young Child: Birth to age 5, 9th Edition, co-host of the AAP's Pediatrics on Call podcast, and Associate Medical Editor of Pediatric Patient Education for AAP Pediatric Care Online. He is a co-author of Co-Parenting Through Separation and Divorce: Putting your children first, and author of Dad to Dad: Parenting Like a Pro. His interests include medical communication, electronic media’s effect on child health, and the impact of fathers’ involvement on child development. Dr. Hill is a graduate of Rice University, The John and Katherine G. McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, and the Med-peds residency program at the UNC School of Medicine.
