Clinical, Research and/or Teaching Responsibilities

I am a general pediatrician at The Pediatric Care Center of The Universty of Washington. While I enjoy caring for children from a diversity of different backgrounds, my area of expertise is children who have been adopted. This includes kids adopted domestically as well as those coming from countries all over the world. There are unique issues spanning from exotic infectious disease to behavior and learning problems seen as a result of early childhood trauma and/or deprivation. I really enjoy working with this diverse group of children and their families, they inspire me and amaze me every day.
