Professional Bio

Dr. Burlingame has a full-time faculty pediatric practice seeing patients from birth through 21 years of age and is a resident continuity clinic preceptor.

He values families from diverse backgrounds and his clinical interests include nutrition, emotional and behavioral health (ADHD, depression, anxiety/OCD, ASD), and care for children with medical complexity.

Dr. Burlingame was a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Mauritania, West Africa and afterwards attended Temple University School of Medicine on a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship. After residency at St Christopher’s Hospital in North Philadelphia, he spent 3 years at a NHSC service site in Toppenish, WA at the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic before spending time in private practice in Seattle. He strives to partner with patients and caregivers to create respectful and trusting relationships through time, building on the strengths of each child and family to optimize health at every stage of development.
