Jesse Wenger, MD
Assistant Professor
Dr. Wenger attends in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. He completed his medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and his clinical training in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. His clinical focus is on the implementation of bedside ultrasound/point of care ultrasound and understanding how it can affect the care of critically ill children. Additionally, he works to optimize the outcomes for pediatric patients at high risk of cardiac arrest. Through surveillance of these patients, education of providers about high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and provision of optimal post-cardiac arrest care, he aims to improve these patients’ outcomes.
