Huan Ting (Tim) Chang, MD is a child abuse pediatrician at the University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Hospital. He graduated from Rice University with dual undergraduate degrees in biochemistry and sociology. He then received his medical doctorate from the University of Texas Southwestern with a distinction in quality improvement. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Holtz Children’s Hospital and his fellowship at Emory University/Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, where he also became an Epic-certified physician builder. His academic interests center on injury-focused clinical decision supports, EMR-driven process improvement initiatives, and population data-informed clinical guideline optimization. Outside of medicine, he enjoys cooking, tinkering with antique watches, and the occasional challenge of an arcade claw machine.
