Congratulations to Susan Cameron, UW Pediatrics Division Administrator of Adolescent Medicine. The Division Administrator’s purpose is to assist the executive head of Adolescent Medicine within the Department of Pediatrics. The position will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and directing all administrative activities for the division. This includes establishing division policies on human resources and the operational and financial aspects of the division.
Susan is a healthcare professional with 13 years of experience leading teams in the field of organ and tissue donation. She is excited to join the UW Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine teams and contribute to helping patients and families live their best lives and receive the excellent care they deserve. Throughout her career, Susan specialized in working with patients, families, and staff in pediatric and trauma settings, and she has a passion for supporting staff and empowering people to learn and excel through building relationships and finding solutions through collaboration. Susan has served on national committees, completed two master's degrees, created a curriculum to establish standards of excellence, and completed a community action fellowship program.
In her free time, Susan loves hiking with her dog, reading, cooking, and exploring the world.
