Special thanks to our UW Pediatrics Executive Operations team for organizing a wonderful winter staff gathering on Wednesday, December 18. The event featured breakfast, drinks, bingo, and remarks from Dr. Leslie Walker-Harding and Erin Allen. Research and administrative staff members as well as vice chairs attended both in person and virtually via Zoom.
In her remarks, Dr. Walker-Harding mentions, "This is one of the rare places. It is really the only place where I've seen dedication to the mission of what we care about. No matter what our job is, we are all here doing it for the kids."
"I am grateful that you choose to be part of the department, that you show up, and that you do the best you can every given day," said Erin Allen. "With heartfelt gratitude, thank you for everything you do, and thank you for being here today so we can acknowledge your contributions."
