Yakima

The Yakima Valley is a perfect hub for day trips throughout the Central Washington Region. Numerous historic towns, scenic wonders and other Washington activities are within an hour's drive. These neighboring towns will take you back in time. Past and present are side by side in farming communities which feature apple orchards and vineyards. You will be amazed at the variety and diversity of this region. And for a taste of Yakima Valley's bounty, look no further than the small farms you see along the road.

The Yakima Valley is blessed with excellent weather and a wonderful location for mountain activities. A 40-minute drive from Yakima will bring you to the foot of two spectacular mountain passes, White Pass and Chinook Pass. These routes offer spectacular mountain vistas, and they are best traveled between April and October. From Yakima, travel west on Highway 12 to Naches. Continue on and take the Chinook Pass Highway (Washington 410). If it is hiking you are interested in, this is the place to do it. There are numerous trailheads in this area for hikers of all abilities.

Yakima Pediatric Associates have five pediatricians, two nurse practitioners and one physician assistant in their practice.

Yakima Memorial Hospital - Children Services is committed to children and their health care needs. From infants who require NICU services to sick children requiring pediatric care or children with special health care needs and their families served by Children's Village, to healthy children who absorb the nutrition and fun served by Passport to Health, we are committed to the children of the Yakima Valley. We want to provide today's families with the tools and resources to live healthy, happy lives and access to the best medical care available when they need it.

Toppenish

The old-west town of Toppenish has several draws, but clearly the biggest are 69 murals hand-painted by professional artists depicting the town's history. In the heart of Washington's wine and apple country, this proud community offers nearby recreation in the Cascade Mountains, stunning views and over 300 days of sunshine a year.

While in Toppenish you'll want to make time to wander its streets with old fashioned street lamps and grab an espresso or old fashioned soda while you check out what we have to offer. For more information, visit Experience Washington - Toppenish.

Yakima Valley Farm Workers Toppenish Medical-Dental Clinics located amidst the many Western-themed murals that attract thousands of visitors each year to the community. Toppenish is an agricultural hub, surrounded by lush fields, vineyards and orchards. The modern clinic, which has 44 medical exam rooms and a large dental clinic, serves people from all walks of life. Toppenish Community Hospital is just a few blocks away, and two large hospitals in Yakima are within one-half hour of Toppenish.

Toppenish Community Hospital is a fully accredited 63-bed facility providing medical services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The hospital has an expanded surgery capability, a dedicated pediatrics area and a state-of-the-art Family Maternity Center. We stand on the lands of the Coast Salish peoples, whose ancestors have resided here since time immemorial. Many Indigenous peoples thrive in this place—alive and strong.
